BOOGIE BALAGAN

Pioneers of an uninhibited "Rock and World music," Boogie Balagan is an untamable duo born from the electric encounter between Azri and Gabri. For over twenty years, their music has unfolded like a nomadic artistic caravan, crafting a cosmopolitan sound where identity is not a static flag, but a perpetual motion.

Their musical DNA fuses raw rock 'n' roll with sun-drenched grooves, hypnotic Middle Eastern pulses, and a gritty blues with Mediterranean accents. It is "seaside music"—electric and dusty—that strips away labels to focus on the essentials: visceral stage energy and total artistic freedom. Their compositions possess an organic grain that calls for the screen; somewhere between an "Oriental Western" and urban wandering, each track breathes a rare intensity.

The group has announced their major recording comeback for 2026. This new chapter opened with a haunting cover of the Daniel Balavoine classic, "Le Chanteur," followed more recently by the single "Purple Fez," a true manifesto for "Love Charabia." This track, where French, English, Arabic, Hebrew, and Turkish intermingle naturally, perfectly illustrates their philosophy: for Boogie Balagan, language is no longer a barrier but a poetic vehicle serving a humanist message.

This sonic blast foreshadows their new album, Gözlerim Yahalom, expected in May. Between sharp guitar riffs and psychedelic flights, Boogie Balagan reaffirms its singular trajectory: that of an essential band that continues, with raw elegance, to make borders dance.
